Terrific Twos

The two-year-old offer known as Terrific Twos in Enfield – is up to 15 hours of funded childcare per week over 38 weeks of the year. Please test the work TERRIFIC to 81025 or to apply online at

15 Hours Funded

Allows 3 and 4 year old children to access up to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare with a nursery, preschool or child-minder that is registered to offer funded placed the term after their 3rd birthday.

30 Hours Funded

You can apply for when your child is 2 years and 9 months old. You will need to have your details (and your partner’s, if you have one). including your National Insurance number of Unique Taxpayer Reference, if you’re self employed to hand when applying. You’ll find out if you’re eligible as part of your application. The funding starts the term after your child turns 3 or the term after you apply, whichever is later. You must reconfirm your eligibility every 3 months via your HMRC account. Failure to do so will mean you enter a grace period and funding will cease at the end of the next term. More information can be found on Informed Families webiste


All early years’ providers who deliver Government funded early education can claim the Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) for three and four-year-old children. If your child is eligible, the EYPP will provide your child’s childcare provider with extra funding to enhance the opportunities, experiences and the support offered to your child. We need information about you and your child to provide the best education and support by making sure we receive all the government funding to which the childcare provider and your child are entitled.

Tax Free Childcare

In 2017 the government introduced a new childcare option in the Tax-Free Childcare. This applies to children. up to the age of 12 and 16 if they are registered disabled.
